Metropolitan PM provides professional construction management and construction consulting services. Founded in 2006, the company brought together those who had managed the design and implementation of large Moscow construction projects in the early 2000’s projects: Moscow-City, IKEA, Ernst&Young offices, etc.

  • Metropolitan team members’ experience comprises over 50 construction projects of different scale. Our clients include METRO Cash & Carry, Tetra Pak, Hyundai Motor CIS, Gunvor Group, Accenture, etc.
  • Each project is supervised by one of the company executives. This enables us to resolve arising issues without delay and not to lose control over the situation at the site.
  • We maintain an up-to-date price database for materials, services, and engineering solutions, helping our clients to choose contractors who save their money.

We equally well understand the mechanics of construction works, the specifics of contract documents, and the complex accounting of investment projects. This enables us to have an objective view of all the project components – from the characteristics of the chosen site or premises to financial planning. Our experience in tendering processes and the following work with the architects, engineers, and contractors enables us to identify bids containing not only departures from market prices or design documentation, but also non-obvious risks. We look for reliable partners for our clients and negotiate terms and conditions that best meet the interests of the project. At each tender stage, we compile a report detailing a comparison of the participants’ proposals, which allows for a transparent procedure and making a rational choice.

Overseeing the course of the design work through regular meetings with minutes taken, we monitor the progress, quality, costs, problems and measures to address them. As a liaison between all the process participants and the owner, we ensure quick and coordinated decision-making at all design stages.

We systematically and thoroughly check insurance and bank guarantees, the quality of materials, compliance with construction regulations and contract conditions till the project closeout. Coordinating the communication between the developer and contractors, we ensure frictionless work on the project. We also take up the function of the Technical Client, making sure that the project gets through approval and inspection procedures without let or hindrance.

Team Metropolitan PM Executives

Igor Lezhankin General Director

Igor graduated from the Moscow Institute of Architecture (Department of Urban Development), then entered a postgraduate program at the Research Institute of the Theory and History of Architecture and Town Planning, and later continued his studies at the State University of Management at the Department of Construction Project Management.

He started his career in 1996 as a Lead Specialist at Mosinterstroy State Production Association. In 1997, he started working for the international consulting and management company Hanscomb (Savant International) as a Construction Project Manager.

In 2004, he moved to Orion Estate Group, to the position of a Project Director. From 2005 to 2008, he was the Deputy Director for Investment Development at ROLF Group.

Since 2007 – co-founder and General Director of Metropolitan PM.

Kirill Rutberg Executive Director

Kirill graduated from the Faculty of Industrial and Civil Engineering of the Moscow State University of Railway Engineering. He started his career in 1992 as a Technical Client Representative at the construction of the first Japan business center Japan House.

In 1995, he started working for the international consulting and management company Hanscomb (Savant International) as a Project Manager, and later as a Senior Construction Project Manager.

In 1999, he got a degree in Quantity Surveying at the College of Estate Management (Reading, UK).

From 2004 to 2008, he was the Director for Investment Development at ROLF Group, managing construction projects with the aggregate value of over US$ 400 million.

Since 2008 – founder and Executive Director of Metropolitan PM. A member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), UK.

Alexander Kadin Projects Director

Alexander graduated from the Moscow State Building University. Since 1992, he was performing engineering supervision, preparation and approval of design documentation and initial permits at Servest Management Company. He coordinated design and construction works and did project budgeting for CITY JSC: Bagration pedestrian bridge, Central Core multifunctional complex, Tower 2000 office building.

In 2002, he moved to the international consulting and management company Savant International to the position of a Construction Project Manager, where he successfully completed the construction of an elite residential complex on Maly Znamensky lane.

From 2004 to 2009, he worked for the Investment Development Department of ROLF Group as a Senior Construction Project Manager.

Since 2009 – Project Director at Metropolitan PM.
